NYC School Of Data 2017 - Session Proposal

Thank you for your interest in conducting a breakout session at the 2017 School of Data Conference on Saturday, 4 March!!!

We seek to build a framework of relationships that can demystify data and technology, foster democracy, build cross-borough relationships, and mentor a new generation of civic leaders.

For 2017, we want to provide a safe space for discussions around digital privacy, encryption, smart cities, open government, and technology. To achieve this, we seek presenters who can develop highly interactive workshops and presentations to facilitate technical trainings and discussions. 

We are excited to open up this request for session proposals! Please note that only complete proposals will be considered.

Breakout Session Proposal Review Details

• Length: All sessions will run 45 minutes including time for Q&A.
• Submission deadline: Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis. Final submission deadline is February 10th.
• Diversity: We cherish diversity of mind, body, and topic. We encourage sessions to include members and voices typically underrepresented within our technology, data, and design community.
