CityCamp NYC 2026 - Volunteer Application

BetaNYC is looking for volunteers to help out at CityCamp NYC! As a volunteer, you play an important role in making sure that the event runs smoothly and everyone has an enjoyable experience. You spend one part of the day helping out and the other part of the day as a conference attendee. Fill out this application if you are interested in working with our team (we're friendly!) to bring New Yorkers together to share ideas and take action on civic issues.

Where: Hunter College, 695 Park Ave, New York, NY 10065

When: Friday, September 18 and/or Saturday, September 19 (4+ hour shifts)

Who are we looking for? We're looking for people who are friendly; people who know when to follow and when to lead; people who like to solve problems; people who love producing great experiences for others; people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty and who understand it takes a village! We are passionate about civic tech, NYC, and inclusive community events— it would be great if you are too but it is not a prerequisite. Bring your experience or come to learn! We hope you use the experience to build connections and find a home in our community.
