    About this event:

A CityCamp is an unstructured conference where the agenda is created by the attendees on the day of the event. Using “Open Space Technology,” we foster purpose-driven discussions around civic tech, digital tools, transparency, and equipping our communities.

Our “unconference” convenes city officials, technologists, community organizations, startups, academia, and beyond, as we re-imagine how collaboration and technology can help shape, grow, and sustain a healthy future for our City.

CityCamp NYC will be at CUNY School of Law on September 6, 2025, as an end-of-summer gathering.

At CityCamp NYC, you are not an attendee, you are a participant. As an unconference, CityCamp focuses on collaboration and innovation for individuals, community organizations, and local government. The agenda is designed and organized by participants and guided by designated facilitators from BetaNYC. Participants will play active roles in sessions, creating an engaging format for creative, open exchange geared toward action.

Code of Conduct: BetaNYC is committed to hosting safe and open spaces for all. By participating in this space, you are committing yourself toBetaNYC’s Code of Conduct and Anti-Harassment Policy.

Health Policy: If you’re not feeling well, PLEASE stay home. We strive to create a safe environment for everyone.

To attend this in-person event, we are asking that everyone wears a high-quality mask at all times (except when eating and drinking). We will have ample KF-94 masks in various sizes for you to wear. Masks keep our staff, volunteers, and attendees safe. Masking helps prevent the spread of viruses — this is science, based on data!
